Oreana Sharpless is currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in the drawing and printmaking concentration. She has an interest in both traditional and digital art mediums as well as in creative writing and poetry. She has lived in the Appalachian region her whole life and has spent most of that time in the state of West Virginia. She has a wonderful cat who means the world to her, and several interests outside of the arts which include astronomy, botany, and a passing interest in computer science. “Chrysanthemum Tea ” won second place in The Vandalia’s 2022 Art & Literature contest.
